Net Price Calculator
The University of Arkansas-Fayetteville is pleased to provide this Net Price Calculator software as a guide, offered to English and Spanish speaking families, to aid in early financial planning for college. This calculator will provide a preliminary, non-binding estimate* of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility based on federal methodology. It was created to help families gauge what financial aid the student may be awarded and to make arrangements to cover the cost of college attendance.
The calculator is only intended for use by U.S. citizens or permanent residents who will be pursuing undergraduate degrees and who will be enrolled at least half-time. If you are an international student, please visit the Office of International Studies and Scholars website at international-students.uark.edu. This calculator does not apply to graduate/professional students.
These awards may vary among colleges according to their own institutional policies. Please note this calculator is for estimates only and the actual award package will vary depending on time of year, regulatory changes, and availability of funds. The University of Arkansas' Office of Financial Aid will make the final determination for the award package.
Before Proceeding:
Please disable any pop-up blocker software prior to using the Student Aid Calculator. **Please have your tax return(s) and W2s from last year available, as you will be asked to enter your information. It is important to review the information you submit, as the calculator is only as reliable as the information entered. This calculator will provide a preliminary estimate of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility - including Post 9/11 GI Benefits for eligible veterans and active duty service members.
*Financial aid eligibility may change each year due to federal, state, and institutional regulations. This estimate is calculated using current regulations and/or policies. Work-Study funding is not guaranteed. Work-Study will only be awarded to eligible students if funding allows. The PLUS Loan option is available to help families cover both their EFC (Expected Family Contribution) and any "gap" not covered by financial aid. State aid determination is made by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Please consult http://www.adhe.edu/ for more information regarding state aid programs including the new Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship (funded by the lottery). Any state (or outside) aid received may alter the estimate provided by the calculator.
**Easy-to-understand help messages are provided next to every data entry field. For families whose primary language is Spanish, please select Español in the top right hand corner after opening the calculator.
